BirthdAYs!!!

Hello readers!! I'm back to blog since I'm pretty free now hahaha. I'm not very sure if this will be a consistent effort or whether I am truly committed to this blog but right now I'm definitely in the mood to blog... I'll probably update this space when I have interesting things to post, really depends on how INTERESTING my life can get...

 So here's a post on my birthday!! Alun had the whole day planned and I knew nothing about it, so he just told me what to wear and brought me out to Sentosa for a picnic!! YAY! The weather was really fantastic that day, which made us feel really really good since it wasn't too hot and it didn't rain.

Here are just some shots with Alun's new Galaxy S8(?) IK NOTHING ABOUT SAMSUNG...

So... Alun bought all the food for sandwiches and fruits. The things that he bought are: 1L mineral water bottle, smoked salmon, coconut water, grapes, apple, pear, ham, wholegrain bread with nuts, cherry tomatoes and a bowl of prepared garden salad!!! Super super yummy and the amount was perfectly sufficient. Rly such a good and meticulous planner hahaha. And on all the food he bought, he wrote cheesy puns on it that was very sweet!!! He adopted the idea from me because I gave him presents for his birthday in a pun-style HAHAHA... Continue reading to know more about his birthday celebration!!! After Sentosa, we headed to VIVO City, got ourselves Starbucks and then headed to town for dinner since we were kinda craving Western. He brought me to Marche for dinner andddd yeah we got ourselves this Salmon steak and a Roasted Chicken pizza!!! both were pretty good but I rly like the pizza better! The salmon's skin was rly crispy but plating game is rather weak... The salmon steak costed ~$25, while the pizza was ~$18. LOL @ALUN cos he couldn't hide a cake from me the whole day so he had to make do with the salmon steak as my birthday cake... BUT I LOVE SALMON hahaha...

THANK YOU for doing this for me hahaha. This is his first attempt at planning a birthday solo for someone, and he also gave me a card which is the first time he has ever made a card for anyone. Thanks for the love!!! 

20 DAYS AGO...

So on Alun's birthday, I had the whole day planned and the morning and afternoon was basically nothing much, we just spent quality time tgt watching Spirited Away and having Macs breakfast hehe! The highlight of his celebration was towards the night!! Brought Alun to this restaurant very similar to Marche's style!! It's a really really pretty place and the food is good too! A little on the pricier side though, probably at least $20 per pax.

 So here's what we ordered!!! Both mains were super impressive hahaha.

So.... Here's the surprise part. Got Angeline to help me to keep all his presents as well as the birthday cake and she met me secretly at the restaurant. Alun was still clueless but I pretended that I needed to use the washroom and left him at the seat because it was getting pretty late already and Alun was still not done with the food and talking.

So... I prepared 6 gifts for him, significant gifts or things that he told me that he liked. Then, I hid and got 6 random people in the restaurant to go up to him and they passed him 1 gift each and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him. It was quite crazy because Alun was so shy by then and laughing like some idiot when he realised what was going on. Then after all 6 gifts have been passed to him, I appeared with his cake!!! (":

 So the 6 things are: unagi eel sushi, a birthday card painted by me, a bear, cereal, kitkat, and Indonesia mee Maggi. And all these 6 gifts spell out: Eel Art Beary Special 2 Mee (You are very special to me) LOL... I tried... But ya the Pokemon card because Alun is obsessed with Pokemon, and I stalked his twitter and managed to find a tweet of his saying that he's "the only one on earth that thinks Drampa and Brionne are cute" Hahaha...

Special thanks to Angeline for coming all the way down and making this surprise possible!! Lots of Love!!! And yeah that sums up the month of May!!! So glad our birthdays are both in May and he is literally just 20 days older than me pretty cooooool. Really contented with everything right now, can't really ask for more. The birthday celebrations were very simple... Since both our love languages are QUALITY TIME, it was really more than enough (":
